THE WORK

ARTISTIC MISSION

As an artist rooted in the border city of Tijuana, México, my creative practice is shaped by migration, collaboration, and the constant negotiation of identity. My work emerges from a deep commitment to movement—not only as a physical act but as a metaphor for crossing boundaries, forging connections, and cultivating community.

Collaboration is the lifeblood of my process. Through partnerships with artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, I seek to dissolve hierarchies and foster spaces where new forms of expression can take root. My involvement in international residencies, interdisciplinary projects, and curatorial initiatives reflects my belief in the transformative power of collective creativity.

My practice is inseparable from my identity as an immigrant and an advocate. I am dedicated to uplifting immigrant voices, mentoring emerging artists, and creating inclusive spaces for Latinx and Spanish-speaking communities. Whether guiding workshops in New York City gardens or co-curating exhibitions that center immigrant narratives, I strive to make art that is porous, generous, and socially engaged.

ARTISTIC VISION

At its core, my artistic vision is to honor the complexity of movement—across borders, disciplines, and lives—and to invite others into a shared exploration of belonging, resilience, and possibility.
